Title: Colors...
Post by: rts on November 14, 2005, 04:08:42 PM
I have now seen all of the VRSCSE2 bikes in person, with my own eyes.

Just like the Fat Boys, the pictures from the MoCo do not do the colors justice.

I like the Red/Charcoal combo the best.

What do you like?
Have you seen it in person?

Seen 'em all at Sturgis this past summer........and imho hands down the Yellow one was my favorite. They all were very nice though, just the Yellow really looked cool. Going down the road you wouldn't have many twins out there that's for sure!

The SE Fat Boys were ok, the Autumn Haze combo was really unique and cool looking. The other two didn't set me on fire. Although the Yellow/Blue was the better of the two.

The same for the SE Ultra Classic scheme's.........

My dealer has had an orange and black since early summer.  That bike drives me nuts everytime I stop by there (which was just tonite, again).  D@mn, I wish they would hurry up and sell that SOB before I do something stupid!

Brian, I hardly need any help when it comes to doing something stupid, just ask Mrs. tHunDer . . . . . . . . . . . . . . (but maybe you can PM me with another detail or two to consider.  What's the harm, right? [smiley=nixweiss.gif])

BTW, I have to say I find the prospects of your flyin' pumpkin equally intriguing, but from the initial reports, I don't get the feeling that any fire sales are going to be happening with that one.

Dawg, just to show what kind of a buddy I am I'll take a few days off, come get the V-Rod, trailer it someplace warmer, ride it around for a few days for you to get it all broke in and ready for Zippers, and then will even bring it back to you.  Promise, no more than 2500 miles on it  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Well you know me and you know I know MOTOR WORK!!!!!!! So I guess that is a good way to look at it. Yes I am going to do a few things to it. I actually looked at the fat tire kit for it. I was quickly talked out of it by my MASTER OF TECHNOLOGIES, AKA PHD Harley Mechanic best friend. He told me they corner like crap with the 240 tire kit on them. Well since the kit comes with a primed fender I better check with the dealer ship to get a time frame on a FAT PAINTED REAR FENDER just in case I don't listen. Maybe just in time for MYRTLE!!!!!!!

As for the 240 tire, I have a wide tire on the chopper and love it.  As for this bike, ditto...I just like the feel of that ride.  I recongize I lose in some areas, however I am willing to do so.
