michigan weather sucks i keep coming back to the site and looking around its a great site and i cant wait for the weather to break so i can ride i rode a week ago when it got up to 58 degrees but michigan uses salt so i didnt stay out long cause that salt will just ruin a bike now we got snow again on the ground so till the weather breaks ill be here drinking bud light with a bad case of cabin fever. Welcome aboard, know the feeling we had snow for 2 weeks went nuts. I'm sure you guys have had it a lot longer but it does go away. Ride safe [smiley=drink.gif]

Welcome to the board Micro. It was a comfort zone for me, till my bike got here......especially after I sold my other one. Long, drawn out wait. But like Magoo said, eventually it passed and it was well worth it. I love this motorcycle (I used to think that was such a lame saying. lol).

Ain't much better up here in New Hampshire! Welcome.

I feel for ya bro. It's 37 out right now ..... but I said the hell with it! I rode into work tonight. It's about a 40 to 45 minute commute (90% of it interstate). Now I'm kinda wondering just how cold it's gonna be riding home in the morning! BTW, Anybody know what an 80 mph windchill factor is with the temp around 35? hmmmmm, maybe better off not knowing the answer to that one.
Obviously I can sympathise with the cabin fever thing. Sure be glad to share a bud light with ya! Maybe better make it a hot toddy or hot irish coffee instead. LOL
But hey .... A big ole HOWDY and welcome from me too!

80 mph at freezing or below can get very uncomfortable, i've ridden to work in the mid 20's this year and it felt like needles hitting my legs

Made it home alive! Get this ...... the stupid temp gauge on the SEEG said 30 degrees. That's the first time I've seen it off of 60 since the day I picked the bike up! My poor forehead was frozen, cheeks not much better but the lowers did their job and kept the jewels relatively toasty. Fingers stayed fairly warm too.
BTW, I gotta try that Sam Adams beer. Whatcha say Microwave? Pull up a chair and throw a few back with us? Oh ... I did see 2 other bikes on the hiway. They were headin south. What's up with that?
