Title: 2007 SERK3 what is the clamp area of the handlebars, is it 1 1/4" as well?
Post by: usa90 on August 30, 2009, 09:47:23 PM
Hi,
I just bought a 2007 FLHRSE3, I haven't received it yet but I'm curious as to what handlebars I need if I replace the stock. I know they are 1 1/4" bars but is it 1 1/4" at the clamping area as well?
Thanks for any help
Kim

Welcome. And why would you want to replace the handlebars?

Ride safely,
Louis

Hi Louis,
I'm a short female and I like to sit back into the seat with my feet stretched out so I don't want a reach seat otherwise I'd feel cramped to the floorboards. I was used to a 2" riser on a Heritage Softail I owned for 8yrs and that was the most comfortable set up for me. I just feel a bit to straight armed and I have neck issues it effects.

Thanks for the welcome BLACK DIAMOND...I look forward to hearing from and meeting new people here
