LOL is there a 12 step program for this addiction,  I was wondering about the breather myself, dealer said I would not need one that the stock K&N was enough, what do you guys think, bike runs great, but I wanted to do the breather until the dealer talked me out of it,

any input would be great, also will changing the  breather change the look of the stock set up......

oh yeah, I am Dwayne and I am a chrome aholic its been 3 days since my last Chrome part ,  ;D

I have the SE Breather, and the main difference I can tell is the black back plate that is on the stock breather is no longer there (which should equate to more airflow getting to motor). I know there are some more internal parts that were changed also. Someone more mechanically inclined may be able to tell you more. I request all my old parts whenever I have something changed at dealer (several dealers I know have eBay sites, so you can imagine where used parts end up

In the category of must have changes, I needed - among other things - more rear visibility; hence my post: "LED (Rear) Lighting."

After reviewing some of the discussion, I just added what I think are some awesome pics/solutions: http://flhrsei.org/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?num=1132970136

What do you think?

My wife agreed to let me order the SE Ultra when I told her that it came fully loaded and there would be little or nothing else to add.

Dwayne,

Not sure where the dealer got the idea that you have a "stock" K&N.

A friend of mine has a regular Ultra and added the dashpad, I believe he said it pushed up on the 3 pocket a bit, and after a while would probably leave nice rubspots on the dashpad.  Not sure what he ever did about it.

Yup, I'm going to add the dash on my '03 Ultra. That dash does look nice. I have the three pouch bag now and have got used to the access while on the rode. But it would be a shame to scuff up that pretty dash. Maybe now's the time to see if I can teach this old dog a new trick.
Thanks for the reply
