In our prayers....God Bless...
Bubba - Brandon is in our prayers! My brother is a doctor in Little Rock and does rounds at LR Baptist regularly. If you need someone to stop by, let me know and I'll contact him.
Please keep Amie and Brandon in your prayers as I know PRAYER WORKS.
First I want to thank everyone for Praying for my daughter,,, PRAYERS do WORK!
Update,, my daughter is still not out of the woods but she is stable for now, meaning she is not getting any worse which is great news.
She is till on a vent which is doing all the breathing for her so she can rest without struggling to breath. They are also cutting down the
amount of Oxygen that they are giving her as well. We will know more tomorrow.
Again Thanks to everyone for you phone calls and prayers...

Mike, we need an update.
My thoughts and prayers for her recovery your way Bubba.
PEP is "Positive Expiratory Pressure" and it's used for relief of secretionary problems in patients with acute as well as chronic obstructive lung diseases, ( like cystic fibrosys , bronchitis and such). One of my brothers had some really severe bronchitis one time and he was on that treatment for more than a week.
Hope she's up and at them shortly!
Joe
good to hear she is improving mikeDitto that. :2vrolijk_21:
Update 11/01/09 Sunday
Amie is doing alot better she is still in ICU but they took her off the vent this morning and by this afternoon she was talking and giving her husband Brandon a hard time... I guess she is felling a lot better...
She has to take a swallow test tomorrow to make sure that what goes down, goes down to the right place.. If she passes that I think that they will move her out of ICU and put her in a regular room. :orange: :apple: :mango: :bananarock:
Then they will start working on her eating.
Amie has made a HUGE IMPROVEMENT today like on a scale of 1 to 10, I would say it was a 99! :2vrolijk_21:
Well to me any whey, just from seeing her from where she was.
Again I want to say THANKS TO ALL OF YOU for your prayers....
Thanks,
Mike (bubba)
Mike I just wanted you to know that I'm still sending prayers your way.
Keep us posted as to how Amie is doing. God Bless you and yours.

Update:
Amie is still in the Hospital but she is doing GTEAT! She is getting back her strength and things are finally coming together.
She has a real bad rash from all the drugs from all the antibiotics they gave her and now they are trying to get that under control.
I think that when that gets under control she will get to come home.
Again THANKS to EVERYONE for all you prayers as they have been heard....

Update: The UPDATE of all UPDATES!
Amie is on the way HOME! :pineapple: :pepper: :apple: She finally got released.
She still has her rash but long story short she could itch
in the Hospital or itch at home. I guess after 3 weeks in
the hospital she choose to itch at home. She is doing GREAT
and I think she is glad to be going home at least now maybe she
can get some rest in her own bed.
Again thanks to all for all your prayers and support.
God Bless
mike
