Title: New Different Lic Plate Frame
Post by: 11 on November 11, 2009, 09:33:50 PM
In the October Drag Specialties "Skinny" Don Hotop has a new style lic plate frame for Street Glides, SERG's etc. It has a rounded top to cover the hole in the fender, allowing it to extend low enough to also cover the fender brace mounting stud. For anyone who has no "Skinny" knowledge it is the monthly D/S online listing of new items. Go to DragSpecialties.com then to toolbox and chose what month you want.
Also a new show chrome type frt motor mount brace is available. All the D/S stuff can be bought from Jenni for 20% off if you have the part number.

Yes I knew it was coming but Anyone interested needs to go to the Skinny and look, directions were listed, couldn't be any easier and UPLOADING pics to this antique page is not easy (like it should be).

Oh knock it off.  This is a free site with no advertising.  Doesn't even have a donation icon.  Cheese and crackers!

Simple instructions, but the Skinny's (catalog) are over 3MB downloads.  The October has one license frame, the November has another. Stop the whining and post a picture of the one that's not uglier than the other.

Of course this site has a donation icon, look at the top of the page right below the chart of the Moco share prices. And everyone is welcome to use this button to make a donation to help keep this thing running.

Ride safely,
Louis

It took all of 5 seconds for the Skinny to open, buy yourself a better computer or faster isp. I have no intention of posting any photos from  a catalog that is available to everyone online. And yes this site could stand an update, I really don't care whether it is free or not. The original posting listed the month and there was only one frame in that Skinny so it was not rocket sience to figure out which one.
I check the Skinny every month, kind of thought everyone did.

post pictures here regularly without incident. The site is fine and easy to use the issue must lie elsewhere?

Have ya seen this plate holder from Paul Yaffe? Clean looking, $250. I went with Kuryakyn cause it is way cheaper and does the job just as well.
