02 stroker are you coming to bike week this year in Daytona? If you are can you wait that long to get this resolved?
What throttle body and intake do you have on the bike is it the Dephi or MM ?
You should not be inside that little black box with the RS232 connectors male / female on the outside.
What map are you currently running in the bike? Do you have a copy of the map you have so if you tried something else you could put back your original?
Let me know,

Best tuner I know of up in New England is Dr. Dyno. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
go here for his website: www.drdyno.com

Harry-I have delphi set up. The box I have has 4 wires coming out of it. Yellow, green white and black. All the box has on it is the screaming eagle logo. No plugs, but it has a single phillip screw in the middle and when you remove the screw and split the box it has 6 blue knobs. Is this maybe not even a race tuner-they charged me for a race tuner. I will snap a pic later and see if I can get it up here. thanks for all the help. As far as Daytona-I don't think I can swing it this year. I used to stay in St Agustine but I lost my connection there. Thanks again

Sounds like a Harley Race fueler.....not race tuner. It can only add fuel.
-
Definitely a Race Fueler, not Tuner.

Opps-my bad. Upon checking the reciept. Its a race fueler. Sorry! Anyway-what do those knobs change?

02stroker,
I have the DFO, not the Race Fueler, so it will be a little different. Basically, using one of these is like tuning a carburetor. You have a low speed setting which would be similar to the slow jet and the idle mixture screw, a high speed setting which would be like the main jet, and an accelerator pump setting. I found a set of instructions on-line that will explain it better than I can - see pdf file attached.

02stroker,
I think its come down now to really two choices. (kind of one of those damned if you do and damned if you dont spots) If you had had the racetuner many of us have maps we gladly share with others, ... but fiddling with gas is a one on one job with the bike just like playing with a carb.
I think that leaves you with the choices below
1. RTFM. something to do with reading the manual :)
2. Bring it to someone more familiar with it.

If you want a pretty good explanation of how to set the fueler, try this link, scroll down to post #36 from Steve Cole.
