Hey ya'll,
I have been here in a while, but I've been without a CVO and just have tried to stay away in order to control my urge to spend money on motorcycles. I've got an '09 Ultra to ride when I need to do road work or just want all the other advantages that an Ultra provides. I've missed having a cruiser. I've got a Yamaha FZ1, but I'm finding that my arthritic right knee just isn't agreeing with rides of more than about 50 miles on the old man's crotch rocket.
I can pick up a new SE Fat Bob well below MSRP and with several other current HD incentives - extra $1000 on non-Harley trade in, extended service plan, free 1000 and 5000 mile service, etc. I'm interested in impressions and opinions on this bike. I think that it looks good, feel that the dual head light give the bike a unique look (I understand that some don't like it or understand it), and have only owned one Dyna series bike and liked it.
What do you think? The bike gets me back in the CVO family, puts a cruiser in the garage, and I think the price would keep me from taking a future bath on the bike (and I recognize my tendency to trade). I'll look forward to hearing from you!
Thanks,
PHAZE

Well, I did the deal. I'm now an owner of an '09 SEFB and back on a CVO.

This is the only photo I have so far, but it is really a good one. That muscular frame and those masculine good looks are really something and the bike ain't bad either!

Thanks! My son has already thrown a leg over to see how the bike measures up for him. He's looking forward to taking it on a ride, but I'll probably log more miles than he will.

Great looking bike. I'm in the opposite boat.....I need a bagger to go with my 09 SE springer. Maybe in a couple years, I had to buy a sporty to make momma happy this year.

Just picked it up after SERT and D&D Fatcats with quiet baffle. Now we're talking! It is the bike that it always should have been!

Best of luck, great bike. I got mine last year from a private party (no sales tax) with 475 miles for an even 23K. It had a sissy bar & luggage rack as well as a removable shield. Had Rush mufflers put on and last week did a race tune. Didn't get quite as much as you . 92.11 HP & 115.78 Torque. I love the bike. My other bike is a big Yamaha cruiser and this bike is just so nimble. My only problems so far:
Screw holding on breather came loose and ate away the threads in the head. My dealer replaced the head at zero cost to me.
With the shield on I get a lot of air comming up my legs and buffeting me. Looking for lowers as we speak.
By the way we have the fastest color. I added heel rests as well.
Ride safe
