Ya.... That is the part number the local dealership had for the throttle body.... I'm a perpetual skeptic, and just wanted to double check. Damn thing is on back order and has been for almost 3 months. Down for knee surgery right now. Been having to borrow a bike to ride. Guess I'd better hunt me up an FXR to keep as a reserve sled...  :cherry:

Might be worth a shot to post in the "buying" section that you're looking for the throttle body.  Has to be several here with SEEGs who did engine work that included going to larger throttle bodies.  Wouldn't be surprised at all that someone still has their take-off laying around somewhere.  My stock one laid on the workbench for almost a year before I gave it to someone.

Fine Idea.... Got that extended service plan, and its supposed to get fixed for free. The only thing extended so far is the amount of time it has taken to get it done. Such a shame. I'm mildly disappointed to say the least.  :(

Call customer service at Mother Harley itself.  It can't take this long to get a throttle body.  Especially when it's a part that was so common for so long and that recently.  Complain to the MoCo and see if any chit will run downhill to the dealer.

If I got the 2005 flhtcse parts manual, would a majority of the parts apply to the 2004 model?  Bear with me, I am a newbie..   8)

I wound up calling the Harley consumer affairs lady, or rather I emailed her. Had my throttle body in 3 days.
