Jock,
Many of us on the West Coast are in awe of your many travels from Florida to our neck of the woods. You are an inspiration!
Having said that, I can see some questionable characters in your life (see photo in first post for three of the most notorious). Example: The guy on the left (I won't mention Doc's name) was observed explaining the finer aspects of the biker lifestyle (the Wiener Bite) to the lovely, and very classy, Carol Hooker who is the director of marketing at Pala Casino. I won't embarrass Roger and Moto Michael by using this forum to expand on their personal secrets. Hopefully we'll have an opportunity to discuss this further at the SW GTG.
Good job thanking the soldier for his service.
Envious... :2vrolijk_21: :vrolijk_11:

God bless our soldiersGo lakers
Most of us on the GTG committee can agree on something, we have not had time to get excited about the event, been tooooo busy. Until now, Jock has me finally excited for the event! Thank you! I needed that.
I saw the title of the thread and who started it......and I knew right away....."this one is going to be very entertaining". Thanks a bunch Dick! :2vrolijk_21:
I'll not be making it to this GTG but Terrie will and she said she's really looking forward to riding your SEEG! :huepfenlol2: Just funnin with ya......she wouldn't even ride mine. Although now that she's become a better rider, she has rode my SESG.
I could relate to the feelings, emotions, etc. that go with shipping a bike so that you could ride it back across the country. And you already know there's not another feeling like that. Reading your story just made me anxious for our trip to Florida in Oct. so that we can do the same thing in reverse.
Look forward to riding with you again, down in Florida! :2vrolijk_21:
Carol now know as "Radar" has a seat reserved on the back of your bike for the weenie bite...what bike games :nixweiss: :carrot: :huepfenjump3: :bananarock: ;) She is a very classy lady, but also a lot of fun and instrumental in making this GTG happen. I hope everyone has a chance to meet and thank her for all her efforts. Thats said, "Let's Ride". :beerchug: Doc
Jock, Val and I will be putting in on the Thursday the 10th. If you would like to met up Friday let us know. Looking forwards to a great time in Southern California. Is it time to leave?? 7 more days can't wait! Till launch time. ;D :orange: :huepfenjump3: :mango: :bananarock: :apple: :carrot: :jalapeno: :cucumber: Looks like you BABY is in Great Hands for its travel Westward Ho!!

Jock,
I'm looking forward to riding with you again! See you in a few weeks!
Just as long as it is not my weenie she is biting!
Ouch!
:2vrolijk_21:
Jimmy's :D
Oh! Jock
That was a lovely story and you tell it SOOOOOOO way! I'll be interested in your experience with the hauler of your bike. I'm going to the gorge in Aug. riding out with Marty and having it hauled back.
Great story Jock! You've already met my better half, Roger, but I'm looking forward to meeting you at the GTG!! :2vrolijk_21: Melanie

In addition please note that I insist that she take control over my ride…I mean motorsickle! After all she provided me the opportunity to ride her fine machine and I have been confused ever since! Upgrade? Keep? Upgrade? Keep?
You’re a good man JC and I really look forward to seeing you and Terrie again in Key West! But until then Terrie will provide the pleasure for eyes for sure…Ha!

I'd (and probably many others here) would be really interested in knowing how you keep all your photos organized. It seems like you're able to dig back into the archives and know exactly where you're going. :nixweiss: Me..........I hunt around for ten or fifteen minutes for a pic that's just a month old. :(
UPDATE....
The motorsickle has arrived...Coming Soon - The Arrival!
:2vrolijk_21:
Before he left I placed a token of my appreciation onto the soldier’s bike. After being in another world for the past two years I knew his motorcycle could use some attention in some sort or another. This appreciation would be given without a name or contact information…Only this statement – Thank You for your service to our nation and those that live in it. A grateful US citizen.

Oh yeah did I mention that his Mom was HOT! That did not cause any pain my way and certainly helped matters!
I want to meet this girl in the background!
So you may be thinking what was the ticket for…Being Southern, Sunburned and Stupid!
Wow! That’s pretty much “right on!” I am in my place!

Somebody referred to Terrie and I as the energizer bunnies on our vacation in Florida last year.......but I think you've got us beat. Like you, I do try to squeeze in as much as possible.......might not make it back again.
Only that's not the case for Florida......so you in Miami on Oct. 2, Jock! :2vrolijk_21:
trapperdog is being chased by Ironhorse…this was some of the finest riding I have seen

While we were in the Mayberry type town, the fire department and police department had activity…mmm. Good thing a couple of krewe members got out of town quick.

But seriously Katrina did change this ole girl of a city and while it is not the same in some ways in others it is just the same. I have made many visits back home since my early years here and this would not be the first time that I have returned to enjoy its open arms. Well last time wasn’t so open!

Are you sporting a shiner in this picture?
Now I must admit my first impression of Venice Beach was not a happy one.

After reviewing this matter again perhaps it does reflect my personality.
Not 30 mintues home I hear, “We need to live in Califorina” ! Loved that weather compared to the high 90’s with 98%+ humidity experienced here….mmmmmmmmmmmmm!
P.S. – Note to my krewe on the West Coast – Specifically one member that was chosen! WHERE ARE WE GOING AND WHEN? I want to be there!
So I arrived home and thought to myself…What a journey! Good times, great friends, awesome experiences, the motorsickle performed perfectly, arrived safely, spent less money than I thought I would, had only a few brushes with the 5-0, prefect location, well-organized, great rides on an on…When can I do it again!

So when are you moving here Jock? Hell, you're already an honorary member of the NorCal Crew!
We can prolly get more buying power getting a duplex together...with 4 bike garages of course...It was greta seeing you agin and better the missus...
A pleasure to be seen and see you and Lisa again...Again Soon in your area...
As to your statement...I think you are correct...If I moved there I would need to retire because I would desire to ride too much and would not work!
There is a place for sale down the road from me with four bedrooms, 5 baths, 5 car garage on an acre of land, all new remodel, waterfront for 500K !!! Too nice to describe and in a destination motorcycle area, with very low humidity, no mosquitoes, and cool at night. Doc
Sounds like we need to form a CVO REIT and buy this place! :D
