Title: "Out of the Closet"
Post by: Fatboy on June 14, 2010, 11:28:03 PM
Yep.........sold my SEEG2 a while back and began working on my own "FVO" (Fatboy's Vehicle Operation).   ;D

Wanted do this one my way and its coming along a litle at a time. Started the project last Summer and I've attached a photo taken at the Laconia Rally this past weekend so you can see how its coming along....just had PM trade out the "work boots" for a new pair of "dancing shoes" while at the Rally.

Just a few more details to go (Handlebars, seat, detachable Tour Pack, Dakota Digital Gauges, Cam and a FLHX rear fender should wrap it up) and then it'll be time to start thinking about adding another bike to the family (something along the lines of a Bar Hopper).

Entered the "Holey Rolla" in its first bike show yesterday at the New York State HOG Rally and we came home with the "1st Place Trophy" for Touring Class. The win came as somewhat of a surprise as there was a lot of strong competition in the class.
Only bummer was we missed the Awards Presentations as we were outside watching the band and didn't realize they were simultaneously giving out the trophies indoors in the Event Center. Ooops......

Sweet looking scoot! Congrats on the award. You've got quite a laundry list of mods there. You need to start thinking about having a brochure done for the bike. Something with a FVO logo on the front.

Guy's,

Thank you for all the kind words and support shown in this thread. I really appreciate it!  :2vrolijk_21:

Chip I would really like to make it to NRG but that falls on same weekend I promised the wife and daughter I'd take them to Boston to visit the Aquarium, Museum of Science and take in a couple of Red Sox games which I already have tickets for. My daughter who is 5 has become quite the Red Sox fan and I've taken her to several Minor League games over the past few years and she's been asking constantly when can she go to Fenway. Do we have anything else coming up tis year?
I'll need to work on the Hp & Tq next if I plan to stay in your mirrors.  ;D

Guys

Thank you for all the compliments!  :2vrolijk_21:

Think I'm about ready for a few more tweaks.....TourPak needs to become detachable combined with a Corbin seat and the Dakota Digital gauges are on the "wish list" with J&M speakers. Once I see how it feels and sets with the new seat the Handlebars will get addressed also.
