we have had that one already at large - the Ferrari in Switzerland to be precise.

Different countries, different rules - even besides urban legends as the poodle in the microwave  ;)

In Russia for instance the militia at a road block may or may not shoot if you don't stop - only the locals will know wich rule applies  ::)

Every system has it's merits, but the press usually only points to the ridiculous excess ...

The speeding with a Mercedes SLS AMG took place on a SWISS HIGHWAY, done by a swedish citizen and he is also a gipsy.

To be released from prison he had to pay a very high deposit, which he had within 24 hours paid. It must be at least as high as the fine for the speeding, therefore more than one million dollar!!!!

The SLS AMG is still in possession of the police and will be returned when the fine is paid and he was sentenced by a SWISS court.

In general the police is very strict here, already minor changes on the motorcycle are heavily fined.
