Hi mates,
I have read some horror stories here in CVO Forum about everything nasty from cheap low quality wheel bearings to completely changed Twin Cam engines because of some low quality issues Harley seemed to have.
I have brand new (now only 500 km driven) CVO Fat Bob 2009. My question is. Is there any points of concern with these bikes and some things to do in advance before anything serious happen? Could we collect those points here to this topic? Anything goes guys.
Cheers,

Do regular services and enjoy your new ride---EVERYTHING mechanical can have flaws---Don't look for the rare issues , rather look for the fun and enjoyment that you have purchased !
Mine has been a true joy---I plan on keeping it for a long while !
P.S. Never have had any real issues ! Nice bike and very enjoyable ! :) ;D

Didn't know there was a problem with the wheel bearings. I did have to replace the rear one a month ago. I thought it was just a fluke.

I did have my wheel bearings checked,by an independent repair shop, and all was just fine---------Seems as though tire pressure is critical on these bikes ! Have a friend that has over 15,000 miles on his 2009 FXDFSE and has had no such problems----or any others either.
They are reasonably solid bikes.......relax and enjoy , don't look for the worst ! :) :orange:

Hi mates,
It is good to hear that some guys are doing fine with their CVO's because for example that http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=54348.15 thread made me again little bit nervous :confused5: . You haven't got any of those symptoms?
