This show had the biggest attendance I've ever seen in Sacramento. I'm sure the weather had something to do with it. A little chilly but not brutal cold and not wet! :2vrolijk_21:

He's designed a license plate frame for the CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide and said he's working on some other CVO parts. He's supposed to email me when they're up on line....if he does, I'll let you guys know.

We headed to Mimi's for breakfast this morning. After that, many headed home while the rest of us headed for the mountains......up above the fog....seeking sunshine.

It was a nice way to cap off the weekend....spending a few hours riding Hwy. 49 and basking in the sun, sharing another day with friends and a great ride.

The bar has a cow bell hanging from a wire that goes up through the ceiling. Story has it that the wire is attached to the bottom of the bed springs in the honeymoon suite, upstairs, and they'd sit down in the saloon and bet on how long the bell would ring. ;D

Post by: RidinRuby on January 17, 2011, 12:53:32 AM: First off we would like to thank JC and Terrie for hosting this weekends ride to the Easy Rider Show :2vrolijk_21: They opened their home to us and took us a beautiful ride through California's gold country.

As JC has posted a lot of photos of the bikes at the show and Anne would rather photograph people and countrysides then metal and rubber, here is our weekend through Anne's camera.

As it turns out we ended up arriving at the show around noon on Saturday...along with a few thousand other bikers

There was a line to meet him/get autograph that had to be at least 200 or more women long!

Jock, what you're looking at is a '41 Willys coupe with just a plain ole blown BBC. I'll have to say not bad... I suspect that this is an Outlaw Performance clone Willys, as mine was. This is done as a '41 and mine is done as a '40 and I have most of the stock '40 stainless on the body.

But this is the prerequisite motor to have in a Gasser Willys coupe, a blown 392 Chrysler hemi from the '50s. This happens to be my ride that I built back in 2000 and sold in 2001 after putting over 16k miles on it. This included a 23 day 6200 mile trip just the wife and I from Michigan, Bonneville, Yellowstone, Idaho, Lake Tahoe and on to Pleasanton CA for a car show. Do any of us know what "seller's remorse" is??????

This is what it looked like when it was clean. With 654 hp you can blow a lot of dust off a car like this.
