Title: Lower Speaker Output
Post by: captdave on February 05, 2011, 08:40:49 PM
I've noticed my lower fairing speakers put out significantly less audio output at a given volume level compared to the upper fairing speakers.  There isn't a speaker "fade" adjustment to allow output level adjustment between upper and lower speakers, so I asked my tech at the dealer about this.  He told me the lower speakers are meant to be bass output speakers (pseudo woofers?) and it is normal not to get as much mid/high range audio output through the lowers.

Anyone else heard or experienced this?

I'm waiting for J&M to introduce their 4-channel amp (supposed to happen this spring) and use that and replace upper and lower (if they fit) speakers with theirs.

Thanks all.
