Post by: SPIDERMAN on April 14, 2006, 11:37:14 PM: My great gandfather was a Baptist minister and on Easter we'd drive down to Massachusets from Maine to his church .My mom would make me sit so still my butt would fall asleep so when we got to stand up and sign the hymns I would sing real loud thinking some how I'd get to sing more and sit less. Many years later after I settled down and my wife and I had our little girls, we'd get them all dressed up for Easter Sunday in gorgeous new outfits as only littel girls can have and show them off to family and friends before they got to do the Easter Bunny thing, so Easter is a lot of things to me. Religion, family, love, faith, spring, rebirth,renewal and when I lived in Maine, the start of riding season :)

Our HOG chapter traditionally had an Easter egg hunt and lunch. This year we set up the egg hunt for Child Protective Services, and foster kids. I had to keep my sunglasses on while watching those kid's faces. My heart felt good. [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] Those kids got the prizes, and so did we.
