So as Jimmy was busy Judging, I had grabbed a hot dog and water ( now starting to be about 75 degrees and sunny). I felt with Ziggy having a new set of tires, I gotta ride :2vrolijk_21:
I said good bye to Jimmy and left, I'm riding South on hwy 99 and I see a sign posted " hwy 190 east ". I have been on this road before and thought, I wish my best bud Wrongway was here :2vrolijk_21:
I started East and could see snow on the top of the peaks, I thought, I'm goin for it !!
I got up the mtn and here are some pic's

What a great looking waterfall.
Don't tell Nancy, she loves the waterfalls.
I'm glad you had a good ride and saw some fine bikes.

:nixweiss:
See how bad that slide was on hwy 1
-
Hopefully it won't last more that a day but Sonora Pass (108) is closed this morning.....snow :nervous:
-
They were showing snow at Stateline, NV on the news today.
Sorry Marty, but I will be in the thunder storming Houston, TX area or I would meet up with you.
Sonora Pass will be open on Saturday as they are forecasting lots of heat for the area.
Get a 4th of July, Independence, Patriotic photo for the Pictures post.
-
Welcome to California!! Showing some snow as the sun is going down this evening.....hope for warm weather tomorrow so this cr@p will melt tomorrow....
-
Sonora re-opened about 3pm Wed. Signs said closed until we got to Bishop, then they said open. Radio reports said the same. Hit some heavy bee's (again), so your desire for a Walker Buger (Burger) should be fulfilled.
Your friend, J. Wrongway Jalapeno

Had another hall pass the other day

Great report Marty! Love that run too. A couple of years ago went that route from Bakersfield when the temps were a lot higher, between 90 and 110. Would like to go back when a little more temperate. It has some great views! :2vrolijk_21:
