Title: 2008 CVO DYNA HP and Torque (110CI)
Post by: screagle2008 on July 25, 2011, 12:57:34 PM
I had work done on my stock 2008 dyn cvo.  Had vance and hines pipes installed, the ECM retuned and the bike dyno tuned.  The results that came back are 81HP and 105 torque at 3000 rpm.  Sounds low and what the stock numbers probably are.  Anyone know what the stock numbers are out of the box?  Thanks...

I don't know what the stock numbers are, but I had my 07 Dyna SE retuned after adding V&H Big Radius exhaust and a PC5, and the numbers are higher.  They gave me two baselines and a final set of numbers.  The first baseline was when they got the bike in 09 (I purchased it used from them, which was a trade in).  For that run, it got 103.40 torque and 85.81 HP.  The 2nd baseline was with my new pipes and PC5, but no tuning.  That was 108.77 toque and 89.95 hp.  The final numbers after tuning were 118.04 torque and 98.40 hp.  The run conditions probably affected the numbers too.  The original baseline was a cool 67F.  For the final run, it was a balmy 110F.

Hi folks
The OEM of my FXDSE 2007 in Switzerland:
Torque 98 (130nm) at the motor, 90 (120nm) at the rear tyre
HP: 83 at the motor, 72 at the rear tyre

Now I´m looking for the next test:
Dynojet Power Vision
K+N air filter
Kess-Tech ESM2

By the way: Here in the EU and Switzerland there is a big torque hole between 2600 rpm and 3600 rpm because of noise measuring. After installing the Dynojet map I didn´t recognize the Dyna. No hole anymore, a tremendous torque improvement at all, linear torque line till 5200 revs. The only weak point seems to be revs from 5200 to the rev limiter (approx 5900, never had time to look at the tacho   ;D). I´ll ask for an improved map. But it occured mostly on passes at about 6500 ft (2000 m).
