Originally ordered 2011 Black Diamond/Inferno Orange in May 2011 only to find wrong colour turned up so I decided to ordered a 2012, my luck they made SG's for the 3rd year running.
What are the chances of running a 4th generation SG?
Getting a few mods done and should be in my stable within the next 2 weeks,
Thanks to all those that have posted pictures of there SG's and keep them coming to keep this thread alive. :2vrolijk_21:
Just took this one today... in my driveway. Gonna motor over to the lake tomorrow and get some shots with a decent background!
Ken, Did you take your driving lamps off?

Few pictures of my Hot Citrus,
Took this picture while the front was in the shade and the sun on the rear, shows how the ghost flames pop out in the sun.
Nice parking spot, Anton! Bike's lookin' GOOD! Now it needs a name...Been thinking of a name but nothing yet :nixweiss: want to keep it down to 5 letters if I can.
Spring motorcycle show....took first place, against 5 other BLACK street glides....
Ken you have Buster looking and running GREAT....Now when are you going to paint it RUBY RED  :lolk: :sauer005: :balloon: :sweetheart:
my question is , why do all these bikes still have the reflectors on the front forks? I am willing to travel the entire country to make your bike look better in 10 minuites by removing the reflectors. just pay the air fare
You have a beautiful scoot and I bet it makes you smile from ear to ear :vrolijk_4:
Way to go Lou. That black and slate shows really nice. Congrats :2vrolijk_21:;D

Finished with the initial set of mods (windshield, exhaust, seat, highway pegs). Starting on the wish list.

Steve, what kind of seat is that and does it come with the rear pinion seat?
Thanks, lou
The windshield is a Long Ride Shields Ultra Flip Up, 8 inch high with their medium tint.
The mufflers are the Harley Screamin' Eagle Nightsticks, which are rebranded Supertrapp slipons. The end cap can be changed to an open end cap and the number of discs before the end cap can be increased or decreased to tune the exhaust (more discs = more HP, less discs = more torque and reduced sound. So I can change the muffler cores, end caps, and discs to change performance and sound.
The headers are Rush true duals.
Lou,
it is a Mustang Vintage Super Solo

It looks like a rear seat is available. If I need a read seat I plan to use the Sundowner that I used on my 2010 Ultra Limited.

I've got the only one in New Mexico :pepper:, so far! It is really easy to sink $50K into one of these, but the FUN is worth it!

Thanks Judy,
It's an on going process that will probably never end. I'm looking forward to a picture of that new tour pak decked out and installed!!
Cowboy
It won't be long. I'm just waiting on the back pad that is on back order. :2vrolijk_21:

Judy,
Jesse won't have to worry about selling his tour pack to me anymore....gonna pursue purchase of that new, adjustable, detachable luggage rack HD just released. Local dealer should have one soon and has my name on the first one he gets in. That should give me the area to mount whatever size bag I'll need. I already have a bag(s) that will fit great on the new rack so taking the tour pack off the table now. Should save me about $2,000....more money to give the casino owners.... :2vrolijk_21:
Will have my air wing detachable rack on the site for sale as soon as the new adjustable is in my hands.... ;D
Judy,Haha I was never worried ;)

You should have been Jesse :P. Howard and I were going to "borrow" it if we ever met up with you on the road. ;D :D
Borrow. Yes, borrow...that's the correct wording...... :2vrolijk_21:
Judy, here's the link to the post/thread concerning the new products. TFB posted a link to a pdf file that shows all the new "stuff". The adjustable rack is on page 4. Very nice.

Where did you get those chrome bezels on the speakers and sub woofers on the inner fairing. They blend in well.
This is another favorite on the 12 ;D

Great pic of you and your husband/significant other riding together and will agree with Ken that the Hot Citrus is a good looking bike (just too bad the red ones are faster.... :huepfenlol2: ) But as nice as your bike is, that '11 Black Diamond following you is one, purdy scooter.....love that color combo and one of my top 5 favorites on any CVO.Your right the 11 is beautiful too... it definitely photographs better... not sure about the "red one" being faster though...lol ;D... thanks
Now THAT is an AWESOME picture of you on your beautiful FLHXSE3! It's even the RIGHT COLOR!We made it our goal to get a picture riding together...definitely not something that you get a picture of too often, let alone on a good turn! thanks
I am going to ride the Dragon and the Cherohala today with a buddy and his GF who have come up from FL. I hope I can get a pic that good!
My wife has an awesome pic of her on her candy lime green Ninja 650 on the Dragon, wearing her bright pink jacket. She bought a 16x20 of it, and it's hanging in the bar room downstairs... and I'm quite JEALOUS. I want one, too!
Ken
That is a nice picture of your both and I see the Hot Citrus is in front :)Glad to see you keep your bike clean (spotless)... I'm always amazed how some people have a gorgeous scoot and they make excuses for not keeping them clean... (yes... I have been told I'm type A) ::)
We don't see many CVO's here is Australia and I am lucky to have 1 of the 9 Hot Citrus SG's in the country.

just hope I don't have to take too much grief when I ride into Maggie Valley in two days because there are bugs on her windshield! I need to remember to take some cleaning supplies... ::) :'( :orange:
Ken
Well, why would we sink $35K plus mods into a CVO, and then let it get all dirty and stay that way? That's exactly what I'm wondering?...
I just gave the Honey Badger a good wash and wax today, because she was filthy after the last three rides.
CVOs are so PRETTY when they are clean and shiny! I just hope I don't have to take too much grief when I ride into Maggie Valley in two days because there are bugs on her windshield! I need to remember to take some cleaning supplies... ::) :'( :orange:
Ken
Just picked up a 2012 Ruby Red/Typhoon Maroon CVO Street Glide. It is shipping this week from W. Virginia. Should I say the wife picked it up. It's her bike. I will post pictures as soon as it gets here. Should be here the middle of next week. She can hardly wait.
Congratulations! Post pictures when you get it, in the mean time she can drool over this picture of mine. :P
