Title: Harley songs
Post by: dayne66 on November 16, 2011, 08:52:30 AM
I'd like to compile a list of songs about Harleys or with Harley in them...I think it would make for a good ridin' disc.

Here's the first one....Trace Adkins' Ain't No Woman Like You.    http://www.elyrics.net/read/t/trace-adkins-lyrics/aint_-no-woman-like-you-lyrics.html

Trace Atkins......Chrome

.38 Special......Haley's Got A Harley

I made a disc with MY version of Road Songs, planned on giving them at the Tahoe GTG, but there was a flaw in the blank discs and I was unable to complete it in time. Ask Marty (110mofo), it is a great set of about 80 songs, mp3 format, he is the only person with a copy at this time.

Just about anything the Fryed Brothers play.  They've played in Sturgis the past 20 years or so, in Milwaukee for Harley's 100th Anniv, the Redwood Run, Street Vibrations and many others, etc.  They've got a few albums out.  Being from Sacramento, I've been hearing these guys play for the past 25-30 years.   Yes, they all ride.

Their web site.....  http://www.fryedbrothersband.com/index.php

I see the You Tube button but can't seem to use the correct link, or put it in the right place?

Of course, every list needs a few songs where people say WTF, but it puts a smile on your face.

Take for example:

The Motorcycle Song by Arlo Guthrie (from Alice's Restaurant Album)......remember "I don't want a pickle, just want to ride on my motorsickle"
or
Red Motorcycle and A Blue Tatoo by Courtney Hogan
and finally
Learned To Ride by Tim Wilson on the Hillbilly Homeboy Album
