I have a 2012 FLHXSE3 and I have a custom seat made by Rich's Custom Seats.  Ostrich with leather and it just looks and feels amazing.  1000 mile rides in a single day without much of an issue.

Very interesting. He is in WA.. which is a bit of distance to have a seat made.
He fits it to the rider and bike.
Thank you for the suggestion

I have changed seats. The stock seat is pretty, but useless for me. It has next-to-no support, is quite thin, and you can't put a backrest on it.

I was lucky and got this nice Corbin here on the forum for a very good price...

Ken, you have got the most beautiful SG I have laid my eyes on  :2vrolijk_20: Everything you have done to modify it has been unique and outstanding.  I wish I could drop mine off to you with a blank check and let the mod's begin  :lolk:

I have the Corbin solo tour, but in "plain black".
The stock backrest is a pretty close match...

I went with the HD Sundowner Touring Seat, and Rider Backrest.  Added the larger Passenger Backrest for the little lady.  She says it's the most comfortable seat that I have ever had on my bike.  I am enjoying it too - but it is wider than stock, so if you have short legs, you may have trouble touching the ground after installation.  HD P/N 52093-08A, and HD P/N 52300008. Doesn't have that awesome stiching of the bikes above, damn that stuff is nice.
