Last Wednesday was a great morning here in NC. So I rode to work, parked in the motorcycle parking area and went in to work. After my second morning meeting a security guard calls me and ask if my bike has an alarm, after my yes she says well someone just backed into it and turned it over and the alarm is going off. I get to the gate to see my pride and joy laying on its side screaming at me. :( The cops says I don't see more than $1000 worth of damage, HAH! lucky if its under $5000. Well the insurance company say $3045 but I still haven't made it to the HD store for their estimate. Saddlebag, front fender and chrome from the handle bars to the muffler tip. UGH!!!!! Somedays it better to leave it in the garage but ya just know when those days are.

Security, gate etc -so the bike is inside a gate?
And the security got the info for the backer or they stayed?
Sorry to hear this, what a crappy way to get ready for the weekend.

At least you weren't sitting on it when the idiot backed in to it. Dumchit would've just as likely not seen you either.

Nope not inside the gate, the motorcycle parking is beside the guard shack. The guard stopped the guy and took his drivers license and insurance card. She was on the ball.

Well at least you got that. In Jersey that would be leaving the scene of an accident though.

Scott was a great guy, Greensboro HD hasn't been the same without him. You can bet he is enjoying some baseball at that big diamond in the sky.
