Title: Clutch Klunking On My 2010 SESG,Especially When Cold
Post by: RODN on May 25, 2012, 06:38:50 PM
Anyone have any ideas why my 2010 SESG clutch klunks really bad when going into 1st gear. Does this really bad when cold.
I let it set to warm up before I take off,but still is bad. My dealer said there is no adjustment.

RODN, when I start my 09 I let it warm up for a reasonable period of time. I hate the noise it makes when shifting into first gear, but if I pull the cluch lever in and release 3 or 4 times before I click into first it doesn't make such a loud engagement. On a lighter note my 95 Heritage shifts into first like butter with no noise at all. It has a stock manual primary chain adjuster and a Rivero Primo clutch. I think your issue is something to get used to. Unless there is a cure for it that someone here has posted. CAHDBIKER
