Title: Pics of my Dakota Kid Throttle Body.
Post by: Ironhorse on August 09, 2006, 10:47:49 PM
I got my Dakota Kid M&M TB installed today. He bored it out from the OEM 38mm to somewhere between 42-43mm. The install went well, just the usual swapping out of parts as needed. As expected I had "fun" setting the cold and hot idles. I'll know for sure tomorrow when I start it up cold.

Next comes a dyno tune. For now I can tell you this, it's a different bike in the mid to upper ranges. It pulls really hard and fast.

Now if D&D only made a "quiet" FatCat.

Special thanks to all those that responded to my request for help with Lancaster, CA HD. As promised Lancaster sent the fuel lines to my local dealer and that solved my fuel leak problem.
