Title: 2000 FXR4
Post by: ilpirata on April 27, 2013, 03:41:18 PM
I just bought a 2000 FXR4, Yellow, bone stock except for the detachable windshield and the bags. Js trying to get some info on production numbers and whatever information I can dig up and I'm looking for some reference ideas. I have looked at the FXR history that's posted which is fantastic, great job.
Can anyone help out with other ideas, thanks very much.

Did you see this thread - Production numbers for FXR2, 3, and 4 from HD (http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=10329.0)?

That thread on production numbers is correct except for one bike - Blue FXR3. Correct production totals were approximately 300. However, HD has second guessed their own numbers, so who really knows? What other kind of information were you looking for?

Well between the thread on the production numbers and the "FXR History" thread I'm thinking that I've got alot more info than I had.
I appreciate all the feedback, thanks again for all the input.

Congratulations on your new acquisition, and welcome to this forum.
A few 'motor tweaks' in the future ... ? :2vrolijk_21:

Congrats, Looks just like my 2000 FXR4 (except no bags, and a couple minor diff's). You going to get cramps from smiling endlessly...
