Right about here, dad Buffalo, snorted, changed course and came directly towards us.  My riding buddy (in the photo in front of us) dropped the clutch and we hauled a$$.

We followed suit right behind him.  Somehow we fit between the oncoming motor home and cars and all the foolish tourists with cameras walking about.  A bit to close for comfort...

Let me show what some idiot on a bike did while we were at Yellowstone last year. Dude just couldn't wait a few minutes. I think I did this right. The video is on my wifes Facebook wall.......Dude on a bagger pulling a trailer just couldn't wait till they got off the road and hit one of the calves.

Have much closer pics of the buffalo also, but they were on the Go Pro and I haven't down loaded them all yet, the nice thing about the first week of June Yellowstone was not too busy, so didn't have a lot of traffic, but the buffalo were all over the roadway.

Cattle drive coming down the center of the roadway, one of two we encountered this morning, this one was about 80 head, the 2nd one was down the center of Delores, Co and must have had 400 head of cattle in it.

Looking down from bear tooth pass

Fully enjoyed the pictorial and descriptions on each...have to say the Pass pic is my favorite.  We wanted to head out to Yellowstone in our '95 Sturgis/Alberta/BC trip but they had way too much road construction (19 miles of mud, if I remember them telling us).  Ended up going through Glacier National Park...was worth the change!
Thanks for sharing your trip with us.... :2vrolijk_21:

+1 except I've got no problem getting buy-in from my boss(wife). Last time we were out that way we stopped in West Yellowstone for lunch and it started to snow - in AUGUST  :o - just a little flurrie mind you but it was snow..
