I have a couple of questions....
« on: August 24, 2015, 08:18:00 PM »

Anybody running a Stock Roadglide/Streetglide seat on a CVO

Anybody pull the trunk without the quick detach kit( I always ride solo and really like the look.

Anybody heard of Protective Asset Protection extended warranty.

I would look at a Streetglide but there is only one with in 100 miles of me and they want all the money.I can get a
CVO road Glide Ultra for less money than they wanted for a black Street Glide CVO.

Thanks, still on the fence, but figured a couple of questions may help.

You can use a non CVO seat assuming that's what you're asking.

You can pull the tour pak without the detach kit. It just takes longer.

Can't help with the warranty question.  Good luck.

I use a sg seat on my bike. Put the 4point docking station on just for the sissy bar. Will take it off and bolt my tourpak back on for trips. Check out the thread titled ( new look for my rgu) on the second page of the rgu section.

You can pull the tour pack off but you'll have to deal with all the wiring. If your gonna pull it off for good it's not a problem but if you plan on using it from time to time I recommend installing the docking kit and Deusch connectors on the wires.
