Yeah they all rusted within two years.. In fact gm replaced both front fenders one time for free. If I remember correctly there was a water pocket trapped under the top portion of the fenders where all the rust originated.

The Vega was designed to be GM's "disposable car".  It even had aluminum cylinders that were only good for one shot. Needles to say the concept never cought on and the kids were buying them cheap and swaping out small block 350's in them.  :P

Put a Buick V6 in mine.....made a nice daily driver when I was a kid.
