Ok, knowing for sure that D00d will honor the request of his brethren here we can all be absolutely sure he is not snooping around in here reading this thread. Really. We can believe that. Honest.
So here's the deal. We all know Gary (literally or electronically). We all like Gary (even though he is a moderator [some things you just have to forgive your friends]).
Gary is going in the hospital in a few days for his hip replacement surgery. In times past when we've known we had one of our fellows down and bent or broken we've collectively sent flowers or other inappropriate gifts. We can't let D00d escape without the same tender mercies.

Since the hospital stay will hopefully be a short one, and since no one really wants to schlep a bunch of stuff home from the hospital, I'll wait and send our special offering to his house once he's home. One way or another he'll know that we're thinking about him.
Since Gary hasn't dared to sneak a peak at this thread it's not necessary to say here that we love ya man, Godspeed and all our best wishes for a speedy initial recovery and PT that goes much faster than expected. May your Physical Therapist be buxom and young and rarely wear a bra. Feel better soon man [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] !
We're all looking forward to seeing you up and about and riding in comfort. If he were looking in this thread we might also mention that he should tell Mrs D00d to let some of us here know if she needs anything while all this is going on.
Since, however, we know he's not looking we can keep all this just between us.
