Oldest son is a ford tech. The newer f-150s are notorious for this, they coil them, clean them as best they can, then listen as the residual parts make their way out!

Thread the plug in and out as you are removing it and lots of these stripping problems go away

Strong advice,.... I have removed hundreds of plugs in my day and by the in out turning when a plug was tight never once have the threads ripped out.

"Anti-seize is your friend? Tell that to the factory. The plugs were obviously put in bone dry."

Exactly, when I bring a new bike home, I remove the plugs from a stone cold motor and a dab of anti-seize goes on. Lawn mower and weed trimmer also. I had a stripped hole in a shovelhead from removing a plug, old timer gave me a jug of anti-seize while helping me put in a heli-coil. Never a problem since then.

X2 on this, and also use your fingers to get threads started before using wrench. CAHDBIKER

mcdonaldroadcapt since you have a camera probe you might want to try making an adapter for your shop vacuum sized down to a piece of clear flexible tubing and suck out the particles of metal. If they want to stick to the piston spray a little WD40 in spark plug hole to get them loose. Sounds a little off the wall, but I have used some off the wall methods to extract items from intake manifolds etc. in the past. Also if you are still under warranty this might be a good fix and if it develops into a problem later let HD fix it.CAHDBIKER
