I downloaded the original 1.19.0 yesterday from the harley site. The AVC issue was not fixed for me...  :(

What size stick are you using mjb765? Instructions say 8GB or larger. But I've heard that a 16GB is the best size to use (it works for me). 32GB and larger might not be recognized. I bought a 128GB Pony thumb drive which wasn't recognized ::)!

I used a 32gb stick..no problems

Update to my previous post...AVC works sometimes. Now, going down the road, running XM, it switched itself to AM band and locked up the system. Nice try Harley, maybe someday you'll figure it out.

Any one have any issues after having their radio updated?  My speed volume control still doesn't work right but now I keep losing the ability to have volume control and sometimes when I push the home button instead of taking me to the home screen it will bounce to the next sound source, I/E go from media to tuner to XM.

I have a 14 CVO Limited and the AVC still doesn't work after the 1.19.0 update.  Someone on another forum or post mentioned the AVC issue may not work on CVO's with the 2 amps, but who really knows.  Some have said the AVC issue was fixed for them. The only difference I've experienced is having to set all my sirius xm stations again. There may be some other enhancements that actually work, but I didn't investigate any further after my AVC issue remained and having to reset my stations.  Just ridiculous...

You would think Harley would have figured it out by now.  It's not like it's a new or surprise issue. Absolutely senseless...

Did the reflash today, found my first fault tonight. The soft buttons on the radio face no longer light. I went to settings adjusted button brightness and they lit, as soon as you leave the settings they go out again. Certainly a minor problem, in the big picture, but I still find myself annoyed.

FINALLY...got the download done...ISO was the problem. Had to double click on down loan that went to another screen showing file in iso form, dragged that to flash, and took flash out to usb port on bike. After down loading checked update screen, 1.19.0, no longer 1.18.3. will check out tomorrow on ride and let you know if it corrected my avc problem. Thanks all for ALL your help and guidance. :mango:

UPDATE: tried my 128GB drive again and it IS RECOGNIZED now and updated the system to 1.19.0. Perhaps the last update to 1.18.3 fixed that issue?

using an 8GB...but as long as the zip file fits it should work fine.

Had to reset all my stations as well......didn't ride the bike to test anything else yet.

So, I have a Mac and a 32 Flash Stick and my AVC still doesn't appear to work, same as the some of the rest of you.  Not a huge deal.

One additional is that the bluetooth connection seems flakier than before.  2x now since the update, I'll switch to my iPhone 5S after it's recognized, and it goes right back to the FM station I was listening to instead of the BT connection. 1x on my ride this morning, it spontaneously switched from my Bluetooth connection to FM...  I switched it back and it remained stable.

Oh well, at least they have an easy means of releasing FW updates...

I noticed the AVC is working but it isn't as much of a difference as it was before "the fix". Seems the volume levels don't increase as much as they used to.

Lets hope 1.20.0 is better. I wonder if they test these updates
