2015 RG Fuel tank vent problems
« on: July 17, 2015, 08:14:53 PM »

has anyone had a problem with their fuel tank not venting during refueling. I have noticed that my tank seems to develop some sort of air pocket not allowing fuel into the tank unless I shake the bike. This happens when the fuel level about is 1 inch from the botton of the fuel neck.

It's a fairly common situation, especially if you go to a gas station where the triggers are touchy and don't allow you to reduce the flow to a very slight stream to top off the tank.  Harley considers the tank to be full when the level is about an inch below the bottom of the filler neck btw.
