New Years  Day  Ride
« on: January 02, 2005, 09:34:53 PM »

In North Georgia we were greeted on New Years Day with unseasonably warm and clear weather. It got up to 68 and most everyone that had a bike was celebrating the new year with a ride.  This is a pic from Helen ,Georgia  a great local destination for many of us.   Happy New Year to all , may you enjoy many miles of safe riding and brotherhood.

You bet it was nice...I'm in South Georgia sightly warmer...

I make it to that area quite often, business and pleasure.  Try to ride that area several times a year.  Lots of great riding...Wish I was there more often.

Enjoy the area!

Glad you got the sun and some warm. We were in the 40s but sunny. After the single digit cold and snow / sleet it was good for us too. Had to dress a little different though. BTW - you do live in God's country down there. We try to get down once or twice a year. Love the Blueridge Parkway, Cherokee, 129, etc. [smiley=2vrolijk_21.gif]
