SERT #32107-01 and index D,E,F
« on: January 23, 2007, 05:12:51 AM »

Morning,

I need just a confirmation.
The SERT's reference for a Jester 07 is 32107-01 with an index D or E or F.
F is the up to date index and it means that the CD sofware is for the last models 07. :)

Is it possible to confirm me that the hardware is the same independently of the sofware ?
Or, is it possible to buy an old index and I need only to use the new CD ? [smiley=confused5.gif]

Thanks
Jacques

Jacques,

SERT part# 32107-01D contained the cables,  SERT part# 32107-01F does not.  If you need the cables, it may be cheaper to purchase an older "UNUSED" SERT and purchase the latest SERT CD seperately than to purchase 32107-01F and then purchase the EFI Race Tuner Cable Kit part# 32108-06.  The magical "black box" is not software dependent.  Whatever you do, make sure the CD version you get supports not only '07 models, but the compression releases on the CVO models.

Morning, crshnbrn !

Thanks for these informations.
It's interesting and I learn each day about SERT.
I've download the software on this thread :
http://flhrsei.org/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?num=1165256516
for a better understanding. It's a good help with the manuel.

I've not decided of my way between the Zipper's autotune (the best product actually, IMHO) and the SERT. The reason is the warranty with my dealer for the Zipper product and the second point is the MAP for SERT is not ready for our european bikes (concerning the active intake and exhaust if we dismount the flaps and the DTC codes generated).
I've a little bit time before this step on my bike but if the choice is SERT, it's better for me to buy SERT in States than in Europe : european cost # 800 euros/960$ for mounting and download the MAP.

Thanks again for your reply.
