hi all...just got the bike...fxr4, 4800 miles, and just love it. the dealership told me no tank bib is available. anyone have an idea who might make one? I have done some searching and no luck...

Mustang used to make tank bibs for FXRs (I have one on my FX2). They are either studded for plain, both with a conchos. Might want to check to see if they still sell them (try e-mailing if you have questions, they are very responsive). Good Luck!! [smiley=1syellow1.gif]

To answer my own question and if anyone else cares to know, Ace Leather makes a nice tank bib with a pocket for about $70.00. I took the chrome piece off of my tank.... I like the look of the black leather under the speedo/tach much better, and the pocket is handy.

Thanks for the info. on the tank bib. Saved me some time. By the way congrats on the new bike. Have had more fun on mine than any other Harley I've owned. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
