No John, they gotta go. It's been too cold and I didn't bother yet. I'll do it in my friend's shop next week.

Thanks Tony, Jerry, Scott and Jacques, they're going on one day next week with the Doherty PP and S&S A/C Teardrop cover, my favorite! I'm also doing the PC and Dynoing to 4K and installing the True-Track. The bike rides awesome. I just put another 75 miles on today. A little chilly, but not too bad. My friend picked up his new 103" Street Glide yesterday. I have some shots of that too!

I forgot the progress report. Almost 150 miles on it now. It runs FANTASTIC!!! Anyone notice that 5th gear sounds very different than all the others? Almost a little whiney, higher pitched and not as deep as 4th or 6th. At least between 2000 and 3000 RPM, which is my whole range right now. Any thoughts or comments?

Stiil no sign of the dreaded heat. The longest spurt today at one time, was about 35 miles. After stopping, the oil temp was 209 deg F. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] It never got above 40 deg F here this afternoon and little sun. In this weather, heat is not an issue!

Ride. I said it before, you want the best handling FLH/FLT HD ever built? Put on the '07 SERK set-up. That 17" wide rear radial w/ HD Profile shocks, and the 170-18" front radial handles like no HD Touring bike I've ever ridden. And the best part, it's bone stock for this bike! Unfortunately, it's not very practical to covert your Glides, but next year they all better have this set-up! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Gas mileage. I don't have a clue! I got the bike with all the gas gage lights lit, now there are 3 lit. How much is left? Don't know. I wanted to bring the bike in next week with little fuel because I want to change the gas lines. I'm curious, but don't really care about gas mileage right now.

Comfort. They nailed the riding position on this bike. I'm 5'-9". The ride height and reach are perfect. The handlebars and controls are perfect. The Highway Pads on the Moustache Engine Guard are in a perfect location. I'm not really sure what's not perfect yet. Believe me, I'm trying real hard to find chit wrong with this bike sooner rather than later. But this thing is AWESOME!!! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Having so many RK's prior to this, and knowing I'm a die hard RK fan, I can honestly say that this bike is the Ultimate Road King. No disrespect to Elvis, but B B, you gotta the the '07 SERK suspension/geometry on Elvis or it's still missing something. Sorry bro, I hate to think what that would cost! ::)
