Another Hello from Montana
« on: January 30, 2007, 10:25:22 PM »

I am new to this forum, and I am enjoying reading the posts and seeing the pictures posted here.  My wife and I live just south of Great Falls Montana, and started riding again last Feb.  We bought an 06 blue/silver Ultra Classic and put 8,600 miles on it by October.  When the blue Screamin' Eagle Ultra Classic hit our dealership in October, we just couldn't say No, and traded the 06 for the 07.  We have just over 1,000 on the new bike. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

We rode mostly in Montana this summer, Yellowstone, Beartooth Pass, the National rally in Billings, and we met some terrific folks during our travels.  We are looking forward to new rides as soon as the warm weather returns.

Since it's had the SERT done, it doesn't want to stay under 80 - 85.  I don't know if it's any faster than the B/O, but it's light years ahead of the 06 we had.

What's the name of the H-D dealer in Billings? I am headed that way before I go to Nelson BC for the Western CVO Rally

That's Beartooth Harley.  We stopped there last summer. It's a nice dealership right off of I-90.

Bigds07se,

Welcome on board from a northern neighbour, Calgary. Being south of Great Falls, are you around Belt, Monarch or Neihart? Done quite a bit of riding in that area. Stay at White Sulphur Springs once in awhile.

Have a friend of mine who lives in Phoenix in Winter and summers in Monarch, name of Charlie Lawlor.
