So this was my decision i have to say its much smoother , anyone else say that ?

Nice, Cyril! Colours remind me of my 2009 CUSE.

But..... clean front mudguard?  Where have they put the sidelight/parking light whatever you call it?

Quite typically of HD something disappears from previous model . If i find it i ll let you know.

Nothing removed from previous CVO (U.S. model) the fender tip light, while on the Limited and other EG models in the U.S. isn't used as far as I know on any of the CVO touring models. Part of the CVO 'customization' is taking off some of the standard trim such as fender badges and bumpers, similar to the way the Street Glide is "missing" standard EG stuff. It's part of the "custom look". A couple of the E.U. bikes (I have no idea how they decide) are fitted with the light, though, from what I've seen.

HDI bikes have to have a separate white light (we call it a sidelight or parking light) and as in days gone by your running lights were amber, being in the indicators, they couldn't be used here. So we had different headlamps, with a small extra bulb in.  When they switched to the LED headlamp in 14, there was no facility for that extra bulb, so we got a white LED fender tip lamp.  I'm guessing that now they've gone to LED indicators (turn signals) that there's a facility to have a white light in with those, so the fender tip light is no longer necessary.

Cyril, give us the verdict. Was the trade worth it? Going from the '13 to the '16? Any regrets? I'm thinking of doing the same myself.

Since you had a 2012 CVO just like mine (Wicked Sapphire), I was wondering what you like more about the 2016 vs the 2012, being that they share the same frame, engine (minus cooling) and suspension.

The deals have come available, but I'm just not sure what I would gain aside from the Rushmore technology, (linked braking, infotainment, better bags & tourpack setup, etc.).  Does it ride any smoother or handle better?

I guess I'll have to try one, but then I probably would end up bringing it home! :-*  I've had a couple of good offers, with KBB trade in value (21K).  Might wait to 2018 when the new frames come out.   I'm not really concerned about what the new motors might put out, as S&S and other aftermarket suppliers will have an answer to that.
