This just in.....

Not one but two Bluestone River Field Eatin Stump Settin Bald Mountain Eagles of Tazewell County were spotted a scant 2 miles from the Wild Wonderful West Virginia Critter Gawking Expedition Site. To my knowledge these are the first two of these majestic birds spotted in this area.

Sorry for the picture quality, the photographer was so excited to see them that he was shaking....

I was not actually the photographer of the photo, a young associate of mine took the picture yesterday with his cell phone from the roadway. I suspect given the fact that there is no place to park that he was driving. Given the circumstances I think he did pretty good.....

I put out 30 bales of pine straw out yesterday in our front landscaping. Hoping I will get a photo of the elusive Alabama neighborus pine straw digging chit covering cat.   He seems to appear early morning when the pine straw is fresh and fluffy. May have a photo soon.

I really hope you are able to get a photo however in the interest of forum etiquette I would encourage you not to try and catch this critter too soon in its native ritual so to speak....
