They are very difficult to photograph due to their superior sense of hearing and eyesight. They are also light on their feet so they are difficult to hear as they approach. I may have to use a trail camera if all else fails. I'm sure if I miss it there will be the tell tale mounds they tend to build during their romp in the pine straw. Time will tell, I will do my best.

I named this one Maybelle.   It seemed appropriate, as she was slower than all the other Manatees and when she moved it looked like an oil patch in the water.

Other coast this was near cocoa.  On 520 at the lone cabbage.

The dolphin and manatee were in Titusville in the cape wildlife reserve.
