What do ya reckon Jimmy?? Did he head up your way on vacation or what??

Truly remarkable and gorgeous critter. Some folks hate snakes, some folks like em so much they invite em to church in my neck of the woods. Me I generally leave em be as long as they ain't botherin nothin.

Had a visitor in the front yard this morning. I believe it was a NW Florida pool skimmer survivor..........a really rare anamule in the NC Mountains

Yep that does resemble critters we get out of the skimmer.  Usually alive and wiggling like crazy.  We like 'em because they eat the stuff we don't like.

I dig it Jimmy

I was recently fishing on a local earthen dam and spied me a Southern WV, Rock Dwellin, Big Tailed, Copperheaded Rattle Moccssin. There are unfortunately no pictures as I was too busy trying to get the heck outta there to take a picture. I have since decided that this critter can have the dam area of the lake as I am not nearly so eager to fish there as before the sighting. I did buy me some shot shells for my 22 mag but have yet to work up the guts to go back. He was a "Biggin". his body was nearly as big as my wrist.

I gawked the remains of this rare critter in South Dakota in August. They are known to burrow underground in the Black Hills, coming out at night in packs to feast upon dogs, cattle, other varmints, bipeds or pretty much anything they can sneak up on. Very dangerous and best left alone if you come upon one…

It will take more than a 12 gauge to bring this one down.

Would that be the elusive Giganticus Canadicus 90 Degree Turnicus?

Time to bring this one back..It's starting to warm up so the critters should be starting to move. Seen something fly across the road and as we got to our turn he was sitting there. Thinking this is the Okie variety of the Whotous Owlous.

Reported to be a non-typical bathtubinus dinosaurus, has disappeared after this rare sighting.
