08 FXSTSSE2 stops better without the front fender?!?!?
« on: March 16, 2016, 02:40:44 PM »

well...

i pulled the OEM CVO tins cause i didnt want to destroy the paint, and while installing my new paint set, i left the front fender off and have since been running the bike without the front fender cause it stops ALOT better..

what would cause this? caliper out of alignment?

i dont get it, the front brakes are much more sensitive now than before, the lever pull compared to brake actuation is instant and much more solid, with better feedback,  as opposed to before where it felt like i was pulling against something pulling back

nothing has changed in the front end, im running lyndell organics

Who are you saving the painted parts for? The next owner?
