I'm new to the forum.  I just purchased an FXR3 and couln't be happier.  It isn't the stock paint...it has been painted Pearl White (Beautiful Paint) which is better IMO because I was never a fan of the green flames.  

I've never ridden an FXR model before, but always heard people talk about how they were the ultimate bike.  After the first couple miles on this bike all I can say is WOW...now I understand.  My Dad was a little upset when he heard I was selling the Road King (it was his friend's bike) but he took ONE look at this FXR3 and just said, "Wow...now I understand why you sold the King."

Anyways...I hope to learn lots more about these wonderful models.  Keep the shiny side up.
