Bassini Megaphones -vs- Vance/Hines slip ons

Guys, looking to put new pipes on the 05.  Have decided just to go with slip-ons and an aircleaner for now.  I am trying to decide between the Bassini Megphones and the Vance and Hines "basic" slip-ons.  Wondering what the sound is like on both.  Had Rineharts on my 03 SE and they sounded nice, but gave up too much in the other departments for me to consider them again.  Any input would be appreciated.  Thanks. My son has the Bassani's on his EG. They sound good and perform well.
