Looks like it already tanked to me.  What is the $25 drop from April '15 to February '16 if not a "plunge?"

It means expect less on trade in prices and higher parts and labor at the dealership.  :huepfenlol2:

To me at least, that article makes me wonder if the MoCo actually reads our websites, much less pays attention to them.
It also, combined with personal experience and listening to negative remarks on many websites, makes me wonder what they were really trying to accomplish with Project Rushmore.
And now they've "lost" their top marketing guy, either because they blamed him or he got smart and left...who knows.  But like so many of us have said, their problems are not all marketing related.
It seems to me, their problems are many and diverse, and their new changes aren't always for the better.
It's not necessarily time for us to sell our stock, but it does seem like it's time for the MoCo to pull their collective heads out of their nether regions and stop resting on their laurels.

The graph means nothing. Well if anyone thinks they can predict the future from history they probably thinks it does mean something, But it don't.

Don't base your investment decisions on comments from this, or any, website.

Should you sell? Well that depends on what you bought the stock for and what you think it will be worth in the future.  (And that is to simplify it since you have to figure in dividends if you own a significant amount of shares).

It means nothing as far as trade in value and cost at dealerships.

The last time I bought a bunch of Harley stock was in March, 2009 @ 8.25 share price.  I later sold a bunch of it in May, 2014 at about 70.00 share price.  I still have some left along with some I purchased previous to 2009...

If it hits 8.25 again, I'll buy some more!   ::)

Maybe...

My dear Ol' departed Pappy always told me to "stick to what you know, boy."  I dabbled in the Market a couple times.  The only reason I didn't lose my ass was because of my impatience.  Had I left it in there and forgot about it, as I was advised, I would've lost it all.  It's just like playing Poker.  Don't get in the game with anymore than you can afford to lose.  Been lucky, I guess.  The only stock I own today, is in my own Company.  Privately owned, and I've been blessed with a business partner that's a CPA, and a lot smarter than I am.  I know how to make them pennies, and he knows how to stack 'em!  Always been lucky in surrounding myself with people that are smarter than I am.  Another thing my Ol' Pappy told me was, "Assets are nice, Son, but it's the CA$H that counts!"  There endeth the lesson.  Later--HUBBARD

Interesting graph, but it really means nothing right now other than "all stock" prices are vulnerable.  Rising = movement/interest.

HD did it to themselves.  You can only push your loyal customer base so far before there are repercussions.  I noted the article mentioned poor customer satisfaction.  Apparently HD feels it has a marketing problem...I'd say it has a quality problem, which apparently they aren't going to admit publicly.  No amount of marketing is going to fix that.
