Thanks dOOd. I managed to put 100km on it before the snow set in. I plan on going to Daytona for the next ride.

Really looks great.  Thanks for the pictures and writeup.  Now all most of us need is warm weather.

In the beginning, Willie and the boys (when not on strike) made their version of the CVO Ultra
Dec 22/06

Now that's what CVO is really about - owners taking motorcycles with factory unique features and personalizing them. I love what you've done and look forward to seeing other owners document the morphing of their machines. Super nice look for a beautiful Cherry Jester. 8)

Thanks EZ.
I know some guys can't understand why a person would pull apart a factory custom bike, but I feel the need to make any bike I own stand out from the rest and take pride in doing it myself. The CVO boys at H-D get allot of the work out of the way for ya, but they leave you things to do intensionally. I feel we are meeting their challenge.
I would  sooner have had a SEEG, but this was the year I was ready to buy, so I settled for an CUSE and basically turned it into a SEEG. Guys I know stayed away from these bikes because they were not aware you could make the tour pack quick detach. With the help of this web site and Jim at Hawg Wired, we know we can. There isn't anything I have done to my bike that a long weekend couldn't make it go back too bone stock again...that's the nice thing about it. IMHO.

Bike looks great! It all came together really well. I bet you can't wait to get it out on the road.

(The Cherry is my fave for the 07's as well!)

OCD has been in my viens for a while. Here is a engine shot of my 03 RK.

I am dissapointed the MOCO didn't release any engine chrome for the new motors at the dealer show. My dealer said they may still come out some later on. Lets hope so. :2vrolijk_21:
