Hwy 94, east San Diego County at the Mexico boarder.
« on: April 24, 2016, 08:58:45 PM »

Went for a ride this morning....about 175 miles.  Rode Ca 94.

Doug at Moto Foto is the photographer.  He's sitting on Hwy 94, aka The Playground, every Sat. and Sun. from 8:30 a.m. till 11:00 a.m.   He put some magic on that lens today because my bike and trailer has not been washed since I rode in the rain and it's filthy....but looks pretty good in these pics.  Thanks a bunch Doug!  :bananarock:

Click on this link for the photographer information  and scroll about 2/3 the way down the page.... http://www.motofoto.us/Motorcycles/Hwy-94/04242016/

Then I rode over to Coronado.  Hooked up with Miguel, his aunt & niece that are in town visiting.....we checked out all the cars at the car show....

Miguel's Street Glide doesn't have a back seat so I gave Gloria, his cousin, her first ride on a Harley....her first ride on a motorcycle!  We rode down the Silver Strand and then over the Coronado bridge and back.  Stopped at Chicano Park to take this pic of her with the mural....

Gloria just went for a couple miles down the Strand and then over the Coronado bridge and back.....maybe 20 min.  She was nervous when she got on and admitted it.  But she loved it!  She was saying "I thought I'd be scared going over that bridge but I wasn't scared at all".  I told her that Babe still gets nervous when we go over that bridge.  She's hooked.....said it was the best part of her vacation so far and they've been here in Coronado for a week.    :P

Were you at the car show?  We were over there for a couple hours.

I'm on call next Sat. during the day so can't roll that far but I did plan on going on Sunday again.  Let me know Alan?

My brother in law just got out of the hospital Friday so we stayed with him in Coronado where he is renting a wheel chair ready house while they ADA his place.
Sunday might work for me

After seeing an ugly picture on FB where someone lost most of the meat on their feet down to the bones I am afraid to see someone riding in flip flops. :'( Nice to hear she loved the ride, good job on your part. :2vrolijk_21:

That may be Jock............but I don't come close to you!  :multi:

You might remember Chuck (username was CAP) on this forum before he crossed over to the BMW1600.  He's way more active than both of us and he carries a camera, too.......

P/S  I believe you've met him before and I also believe he's going to try to make it up to the redwoods GTG.
