Danny Gray Airhawk Long Haul 2up XL Seat

Interested in subj seat for my 15 CVO RG but the DG website fitment notes say: "FLHR, X, T 08+ : Excludes CVO/SE models". I have called DG twice and sent email but they have yet to respond. Anyone running this seat on their SERG or know WHY it won't fit? Want to purchase a used one off another forum but need to make sure it will fit. TIA.

Gonna stick my neck out here. I think on some CVO models there are chrome strips on the fender top that make it impossible for the seat you asked about to fit properly. If that's the case just remove the chrome strips and the seat may work. Again I'm not sure about this but if memory serves that is the problem and solution. Proceed at your own risk.
