I was directing the Peterson's question at jegomez, sorry, they have 2 dealers and I know a good V-Rod tech there.

The V-mods are probably some of the best pipes for the stock engine for all around performance and sound. The quiet style are much louder than the SE slipons and the regular styles are loud.SE slipons are good pipes too, just not enough sound for me.I wound up winning the Q,V-Mods at a silent auction, the others I modified myself.
I'm glad your SE runs smooth now.

Jorge...can't wait to see the finished product, my friend.  That's a nice pipe you picked and I'm sure will give you some good numbers!!

Wish we could join you guys in Daytona, but we would only be able to ride down Friday and would have to return Sunday or Monday at the latest...hardly worth the trip. :(

Same than me amigo...I will be going on Saturday and coming back on Tuesday....go, we are going to have fun.!! :2vrolijk_21:

No Jorge that's a look I like!!!!  What about sound????  I know I'm a redneck but I really can't help it!  I like the Vrod sounding more like a Harley than a Honda and that is accomplished by the Thunderheader!  Would like to see and hear the Fat Cat.  I like the upward sweep.  That is what I miss about the stock pipes.  But so far, the performance outweighs the lines!  That V FLIES!!!  You'll see more numbers in the next month or two!!!  I'll keep you posted!

Well after years of wanting it done, I am finally going to do it...Wanted to take it to Tilley's and HUBBARD helped me, but I just do not have the time.

Therefore, I am having it performed locally.

I had some major issues when I performed a flash that was not correct.  I suspect this will assist in this matter.

I will keep you posted...

Well it's done...After a Sept. 2006 Dyno Shoot Out and some surprising results, I finally was able to have it done properly.

Prior to this, I was running 16 GA Double Barrels and the HD Flash Download, which I was informed in Daytona Beach was not designed for my bike after the fact.

As you can see, the bike was running poorly and I had my a$$ handled to me at the event.  Not a problem, just a surprise...

Now after all of this work, here were the results with minimum investment...

One statement I can make for sure...Do not assume a map will generate the desired results or anything near what you expect.  As we know, ALL BIKES ARE DIFFERENT!!!

A noticeable difference from the first result and I am pleased...BTY...it was 98* outside when this was performed..DAMN...

Nice run brother, glad you were able to finally get her in. BTW, she is great looking in that rear shot, nice and wide, little wear.

Tire had to be replaced...less than 100 miles on that tire.

Wow!!! :shocked2: Is that normal for that to happen on that bike during dyno? I think I remember you having that tire replaced not to long ago because previous one was defective.
