Well... Finally did it after 5 years and 74,000 Miles..Traded my '11 CVO RG in on a new '16 CVO RG.. In Red of course.. Is there any other color??
Just couldn't pass up the deal. $36,800 , that,s ok, not the deal of the century. They gave me $16,00O for my '11 with 74k on the clock which is about $3-4 k more than low book, plus .99 interest rate. They evidently "buy down" HD's 1.99 interest rate deal to a .99 That's what I felt made it a decent deal. Just couldn't say no..
Now a little fun.. Got a sweetheart deal. ($220) on a new set of SE 585 cams ., Calling Steve later this week to get a Fullsac DX pipe . I already have an extra set of CVO 1.75 cans ready to go..plus will get an Ed tune with PV . Will throw this at it until it's 117 time. Thinking we might make at least 100HP.. then it should be 1/2 way fun to ride
On a side note I rode it home , shut it off , fired it right back up , lifters rattled to beat hell.. Just happen to see a note about that in the manual, thank goodness.. It's ok, they all do that... Good 'ole HD "C" lifters..what a POS.. Steve @ GMR is only about 15 min from me, will run out and grab a set of lifters from him,when I do the cams.. On with the show!!
Just had to do a side by side..Lot's of good memories and more coming!
